Limerick artist Tom Prendergast presents a suite of postcards to accompany his solo exhibition at Ormston House, Not Me, Us. Each postcard is stamped by the artist on the reverse.
The paintings represented in this edition of postcards are from Tom’s daily painting practice in which he has created a still life and a portrait, of either himself or his wife Katie, every day for over two years.
An active member of the local arts community, Tom graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design in 2007 and has since exhibited extensively in Limerick. He is a DJ, known for his nights of dancing and his trademark handmade invitations. He is host of The Last Bus Home, a weekly show broadcast on Limerick Community Radio. He has promoted bands, organised exhibitions, led writing classes, and worked with young people in St. Marys Park.
